The Mariner Leisure Centre

The Mariner Leisure Centre is situated in Camelon, just outside Falkirk. With a large family friendly pool, sports facilities and a cafe, the Mariner has something for all the family. It is 'We're Good to Go' certified.

  • Reopened on Monday 26 April 2021, allowing access to swimming pools, gyms and for adult non-contact sport activities (non-group activity only). Indoor fitness classes and outdoor adult contact sport activities are due to re-start on 17 May, following Government guidance.

The Mariner Centre  offers a Lagoon-shaped leisure pool with beach area and wave machine, a laned swimming area, baby pool and frog, dolphin, whale and walrus chutes along with a frog-on-a-log water feature. It also has poolside viewing and family friendly communal changing village.

Other than swimming, the Mariner offers a wide range of sports facilities including a games hall, squash courts, dance studio, sauna suite and weights room. There’s also a soft-play area for kids aged up to 7 and cafeteria.

The Mariner Centre Gym is located within the Centre and offers the latest cardiovascular machinery and weights which are sure to raise that heart rate!

The Mariner Centre does now have a Changing Places Certified toilet for more info click here. These purpose built toilets are specially equipped to be used by anyone with complex care needs and are big enough to allow enough space for the person’s carer to assist them in comfort.

Overlooking the leisure pool and handy for the soft play area, the café serves a wide range of hot and cold, meals and snacks, including healthy options.

We have recently introduced a loyalty card in our cafes where every 7th hot drink is on us!

The centre has undergone a recent refurbishment which includes improvements to wheelchair access and a Changing Places toilet. There is also plenty of free parking, including disabled spaces, at entrance level.

Next door to the Mariner Leisure Centre, you’ll find the Forth Valley Sensory Centre. It has a sensory garden that has been designed as a place for those with a sensory impairment to relax and enjoy. There’s also a fully accessible café and child-friendly sensory room in the centre too.
