Bean Row Pottery, run by artist Susan Wade-French, is situated among a network of atmospheric old rows, closes and wynds in the historic heart of Falkirk. Just off the Cow Wynd and only a few yards away from Falkirk's High Street lies Bean Row Pottery, the building and street name reflecting a time when the town was a centre for trade in beans, peas and pulses.
All clay work is made on site and visitors can browse the Pottery Studio Shop, enjoy the courtyard garden and can watch Susan work on her latest ideas.
The designs are inspired by nature, her immediate surroundings, heritage and landscape.
From these ideas the finished works are formed creating decorative plates, low relief panels, clay animals, mugs, jewellery and much more.
