Visit the Falkirk Wheel and enjoy a great festive day out with mini golf, face painting and a present from Santa - plus there's a chance to win a prize in the Christmas jumper competition!

A stones throw from the The Falkirk Wheel, you will be able to wander through Rough Castle's 1.4km illumination trail, use your festive magic and cheer and be transported into a woodland world of light & illumination.
Rudolph and his real life Reindeer will guide you through Rough Castle Christmas Woodlands in search of Santa. And that’s not all! Journey through enchantment to their 35 metre Polar Ice Tunnel of Light on your Christmas quest.

The Kelpies are stunning on a cold winters day making it a great time of year to visit. With so much to see and do, it is a fantastic day out with the family.
Join a Kelpies tour to experience a Kelpie from the inside and explore the extensive Helix path network, ideal for walking, cycling and running and of course many have a fantastic view. Black Bun Specials - 30 & 31 December 2021 and 2 & 3 January 2022
Enjoy a nostalgic steam train journey in a cosy carriage, complimentary hot drink and a slice of traditional Hogmanay black bun for the adults and shortbread and juice for the kids will make a perfect family treat to end the year together in style at this unique event.
