Scotland has been featured in numerous Hollywood and Internationally renowned films. And a number of them have been filmed in our area – some of them you will know others you may be surprised to discover! Our stunning landscape and unique attractions provide the perfect backdrop for the camera.
In partnership with West Lothian, Film on Forth has been created to showcase the number of locations in the Falkirk area and West Lothian used on screen, including Mary Queen of Scots, Outlaw King, Outlander and many more.
Follow the steps of the stars that have visited the area with our range of itineraries - from day trips to longer, multi night stays. You'll find the historic sites such as Blackness Castle, Linlithgow Palace and Callendar House, as well as the modern Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel.
