The Mariner Leisure Centre

The Mariner Leisure Centre is situated in Camelon, just outside Falkirk. With a large family friendly pool, sports facilities, soft play area and a cafe, the Mariner has something for all the family. 

Falkirk’s 4-star leisure attraction, the Mariner Centre offers a Lagoon-shaped leisure pool with beach area and wave machine, a laned swimming area, baby pool and frog, dolphin, whale and walrus chutes along with a frog-on-a-log water feature. It also has poolside viewing and family friendly communal changing village.

Other than swimming, the Mariner offers a wide range of sports facilities including a games hall, squash courts, dance studio, sauna suite and weights room. There’s also the popular Great Mariner Reef Softplay for kids aged up to 7.

The Mariner’s Café has a tasty selection of snacks, cakes and drinks. And parking is free!

The Mariner Centre Gym is located within the Centre and offers Scotland’s first immersive cycling studio, and the latest cardiovascular machinery and weights which are sure to raise that heart rate! Power-assisted exercise machines are available within the Shapemaster Hub.

The Mariner Centre does now have a Changing Places Certified toilet for more info click here. These purpose built toilets are specially equipped to be used by anyone with complex care needs and are big enough to allow enough space for the person’s carer to assist them in comfort.

The hall is the size of four badminton courts. Suitable for all indoor sports, including:

Squash courts

Cafeteria

Overlooking the leisure pool and handy for the soft play area, the café serves a wide range of hot and cold, meals and snacks, including healthy options.

We have recently introduced a loyalty card in our cafes where every 7th hot drink is on us!

Vending service

  • Vending machines all in one area, close to front entrance

Changing Facilities

  • Changing Village for the leisure pool with family friendly changing area and large lockers

The centre has undergone a recent refurbishment which includes improvements to wheelchair access and a Changing Places toilet. There is also plenty of free parking, including disabled spaces, at entrance level.

Next door to the Mariner Leisure Centre, you’ll find the Forth Valley Sensory Centre. It has a sensory garden that has been designed as a place for those with a sensory impairment to relax and enjoy. There’s also a fully accessible café and child-friendly sensory room in the centre too.
