- Make your way from the town centre or start your journey at The Falkirk Wheel. Experience the world’s first and only rotating boat lift, check out the Visitor centre and experience the Wheel by boat ride – you must pre book as capacity has been reduced.
- Continue your journey along the Forth and Clyde Canal, the canal paths are ideal for cycling and enjoy its tranquil and vibrant green corridors. As soon as you spot the impressive Rosebank Distillery (currently in restoration), turn right on the direction to Falkirk town centre.
- Before you head to the town centre, we highly recommend you stop at the stunning Dollar park and Walled Garden with a sensory garden, pond, bandstand & arbour area. Within the park, you will find Arnotdale House which has a cáfe which prides itself on using locally sourced produce.
- Once in Falkirk Town centre, pop in for lunch in one of award-winning coffee shops and restaurants, shop in the many independent boutiques, speciality stores and gift shops, and explore Falkirk town centres history by following the Falkirk Town Heritage Trail.
- Finish your trip off by cycling to the Helix Park and head to The Kelpies. Experience these colossal 30 metres sculptures in a 30 minute guided tour, have a refreshment and shop for your favourite gift in the visitor centre.
