Historic Falkirk: Castles, Romans, Railways & a Pineapple

An excellent blog from David C Weinczok  - The Castle Hunter who we invited to the Falkirk area in May 2018 to visit our many historical gems.

The Castle Hunter, over two days, visited Callendar House, the Antonine Wall a Unesco World Heritage Site, Mannerstons Cafe and Farm Shop, Blackness Castle and he then stayed overnight in the quirky Spoke N Boot Glamping pods. He continued his two days with a visit to The Dunmore Pineapple, Falkirk Town Centre and of course took in the Kelpies in Helix Park, followed by a trip to the impressive Kinneil House and Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway
